As autumn deepens and the leaves turn, the outer world grows quieter while the inner world awakens.

Mythic Heart Theatre offers A Feast for the Soul—an experience of seasonal transition, created to kindle our inner flames and open a space for wonder.

Performance artist Kristi Williamson brings mythical figures to life, guiding us through a tapestry of dance, song, and poetry. Accompanied by guest cellist Robin Lane, the performance draws on wisdom that reaches across time—from the ancient poetry of Rumi and sacred song to contemporary explorations of what it means to be human.

Film projections and masks by Kathryn Oliver transform the stage into a dreamscape. Works by visual artists Joyce Tenneson and Joan Proudman are woven into the projections.

Throughout the performance, audiences are invited to participate from their seats through singing, gentle movement, and shared moments of connection. All participation is optional. Culminating with a closing community offering honoring the seasonal change and an ode to the soul.

Mythic Heart Theatre is a collaboration between performance artist Kristi Williamson and visual artist Kathryn Oliver. Rooted in myth, fairy tale, poetry, and timeless literature, their work brings stories into living experience through dance, music, and visual art.

Inspired by Maine’s seasonal rhythms, Kristi’s embodied performance and Kathryn’s visual landscapes emerge through a shared creative process, with both artists contributing to the direction of each production.

Meet Tabreze and Robin

Award winning entertainer Tabraze Sheikh has been performing incredible feats of mind reading since a young age. Born and raised in the United States, Tabraze is completely self-taught. His performances have been seen by thousands across the world. Now, he travels with his beautiful wife, Robin, and together they demonstrate the full unlocked potential of the human mind.

Growing up, Robin Sheikh always experienced strong mental connections with various people. It seemed she could interpret thoughts and emotions easily. Upon meeting and marrying Tabraze, their mental connection grew over time and developed into what some say are truly "Two minds into one".

The Gawler Family Band brings you an assortment of old and new sounds from many folk traditions. They accompany interweaving family harmonies with fiddles, banjo, cello and guitar, as well as a few surprises.

Whether they are crooning a poignant ballad or delivering a rollicking fiddle tune, their unique arrangements are especially engaging and often go along with anecdotes of historical or humorous content.

Although the Gawlers may be best known for their extensive collection of dance tunes in the Scots-Irish and French Canadian traditions, their repertoire may include a gutsy ‘Sweet Honey in the Rock’ style a'capella worksong or an amusing ode to everyday life.

With their infectious spirit and sparkling musicianship, and with several albums to their credit, the Gawlers have earned a beloved place in the delighted hearts of varied audiences across the Northeast.

Low Lily’s Winter Solstice Celebration 

American roots band Low Lily celebrates the Solstice! Rooted in the rich vocal and fiddle traditions of North America, acclaimed folk trio Low Lily shares fiddle tunes alongside lushly arranged songs to honor the wintry season. Between them, the musicians play mandolin, guitars, fiddle, banjo, and sing in three-part vocal harmonies.

Low Lily’s annual Winter Solstice show features original and traditional songs and covers (think Jethro Tull, Kate Rusby, and more) which capture the beauty, joy and challenges of the darkest time of year. From foot-stomping to thought-provoking, silly to sacrosanct, the trio pays homage to new and old traditions as we approach the shortest day of the year, and celebrate the sun’s return.

Low Lily’s seamless vocal harmonies, instrumental mastery, and genre-crossing arrangements have earned them a devoted following and critical acclaim, garnering two #1 songs on international folk radio and winning two Independent Music Awards. Their poignant song Hope Lingers On (written by former bandmate Lissa Schneckenburger) has been performed by choirs around the world as an anthem for peace and justice.
